Rate is Passport America accepted even for a Saturday night. We had placed on an on line reservation with a deposit and the owner gave us a cash refund to bring the rate to the PA rate. Owner extremely friendly and helpful. Site level. Entrance a little unusual (via a gas station) but a well marked sign showing the way in. Site large enough for a pull through but all connections to rear so we had to unhitch anyway for the sewer hose to reach.

Except for a major issue with small non-biting ants, this is a great park. Rare to find full hookups and 50 amps in a county park. There are no flies and no cow smell but a major ant problem. Even though we used Ajax and later, Ortho Spray, around tires and other parts of motorhome touching ground, they still invaded the inside of our motorhome. Only the use of about a dozen inside ant-bait disks finally controlled them. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Fun place to spend a night. The Ghost Town is included in the camping fee. Asked for and got a $5.00 senior discount. Used a full hookup, pull through (30 amp) around the circle, although it was not long enough to leave the dinghy hitched. Only negative is the leveling: required 4" blocks under the left tires. One weeknight in late September: we only saw 4 other campers.

A very nice park except for issues in leveling rig. We first stopped at the rear of the site and found the slope at the rear such that we were about 5+" off level. Then we pulled forward which reduced the off level at the rear of the coach to about 3+" but could no longer reach the sewer cap with 20' feet of hose.. We were in site T-14. Water and 30 amp power was fine. Marginal cell service, one digital channel not worth watching. Did get dial up speed internet on Verizon air card. Still,, a nice park. Very quiet.

Excellent park. Level sites, good power, water, cable TV, cell coverage, wireless and air card coverage and courteous staff. Great location for visiting Silver Falls State Park with hikes to several waterfalls. Good grocery in town with fresh produce. The rate of $15 was using Passport America which was valid Thursday - Saturday on dates we stayed (9/10-12). Only two issues: Signing on road heading from Silverton does not appear until at turn to left. We missed the turn and had to travel several miles before we could safely turn around in our 40' motor home towing a mid sized pickup. Also, if leaving site and planning on returning after dark, I recommend leaving some distinctive light on your rig. This place is real dark at night and our rig was tough to find.

As a previous reviewer observed: sewer connection is at the extreme rear of site. We were here for one night and didn't want to unhitch the toad. Our 20' sewer line was about 10' short to reach. We pulled into a vacant site in the morning and dumped, but one should not have to do this in a well laid out park.

But for the serious problems entering this campground with a big rig and tow, and the related extremely poor attitude by both the man and woman in the office: I would rate this park much higher. The 90-degree turn, as designated by signs to the office, immediately after entering this park, is impossible with a 40' motorhome with tow attached. On the left there was another 40' motorhome in Site #2 backed as close to road as possible. We had to back up with tow attached to get clear of obstruction to the right and then detach our tow. There were plenty of other sites where they could have placed the other 40' motorhome instead of at the park entrance. Or if the 40' motorhome was at the front of its site rather that the rear, there would have been adequate clearance. When discussed with the managers (both man and woman), they argued with me and my traveling partner in another motorhome and displayed total arrogance. We had spent 3 nights here in June. We cut short our stay to one night this time. We will not return.

Pretty nice campground for Alaska. Enjoyed 50amp service, good water pressure, level site, cable TV and great views. Did see an Eagle!!! We are in the "caravan" section: sites a little narrow but long enough for the 40' motor home with mid-sized pickup behind and room to spare. Only complaint: wireless did not work at all. Called office last night and they said they would "reboot". Later learned it was totally down and would be until someone comes from Anchorage. A park this big, advertising free wireless, should have arrangements to keep it working.

Only park on our 48 day caravan tour of Alaska with uneven site. Needed 4" blocks under one set of rear tires and one rear jack to get level. However, pull thru adequate for our 40' motor home and Dodge Dakota on tow bar. No cable and we were unable to get digital TV even though close to Anchorage. Only pay wireless at $10/day. Don't know rate because we are on a caravan tour. They did provide a covered site for a group dinner.

Yes, sites are very close but not as bad as other reviews state. We are in a 40' motor home with 2 slides on driver's side alongside another 40' motor home with slides facing ours. Still room to walk between (site #29). Could not open awing on other side. Management friendly and helpful. Mechanic on site. Coin car wash - $3CA for 9 minutes. Wi-Fi works but very slow - free. Good price for diesel fuel on site - $.94CA liter less 3 cent discount. Very quiet even though along Alaska Hwy. About 6 miles from Whitehorse City Center on good roads.

Stayed here because it is only one that had availability when calls made day before - 3 others were booked and lady said we got last pull through. Not as bad as previous reviews. Yes, dirt roads and gravel pads. But long pull through for our 40' motor home with tow. Pad reasonably level. Good water pressure and 30 amp power. However, many gopher holes around site - complete with gophers poking heads out. Need to be careful not to trip. Check-in reasonably friendly but more emphasis than any other park I have used regarding "rules" Grass and some trees. Some trash around but not terrible.

Excellent campground - nearest to Miette Hot Springs. No services, no TV, no satellite radio, no cell phone coverage. Very big sites - fairly level. Road rather narrow for 40' motor home with toad but passable. Only complaint - signage not adequate off main Jasper Park Road and off side road passing campground. We passed the first turnoff and had to travel 5 miles + before able to do a U turn with toad attached. Sign is about 50 feet before turnoff to campgrounds and until you turn a bend, the gate is not obvious.

Good experience except no signs or other directions to exit park. We stayed only one night and when trying to leave went around the park twice until another camper said we had to leave the way we came in, which required driving our 40' motor home with toad attached against the painted directional arrows. Otherwise would have rated this park 9-10.

Excellent experience. Beautiful landscaping well maintained. Staff friendly and courteous. Extensive library of free DVDs with many current titles. Only problem was broken sewer cap when we checked in after hours. Mentioned to office in morning and new cap placed at site within minutes.

Other than dust from construction, had excellent experience. Park rangers very polite and helpful. Will stay here again.

A fine park! Plenty of of room, level sites, easy to find, sites well marked. Many sites do not yet have sewers (in future plans) but adequate dump site. Only inconvenience - gate locked at 10PM. Got combo when checked in but it is a combo pad lock and hard to see when re-entering particularly on a cold night. Will definitely stay here gain.

We are newbies so a "big" pull thru was important to us. This park was an excellent choice. All expectations were met. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed four nights. Did laundry once - laundry room clean. Location about 6 miles from Branson highlights. We will definitely return.

Superb campgrounds. We stayed just one night and, and not for fact we needed to be back home for voting, would have stayed longer. We are newbies so a pull-through was important. A phone call to the Park Ranger a few hours before we arrived confirmed they had at least three with electricty, water and sewerage. The Ranger who greeted us, was very friendly and helpful. Site was gravel but level - equipped with grill, fire ring and picnic table. Will definitely return.

Our first trip in our 5th wheel so a pull-thru and "big" site was important. Got what we needed. Staff very friendly and helpful as were are neighbors. We will definitely return.
